Resources: Editable Medical Binder

Our medical binder started on a whim, out of desperation. Too many providers, too many med changes, too many times I repeated the same information through tears and exhaustion. What began as a notebook turned into a structured system that we now use with every nurse, doctor, therapist, and school staff member in Dylan’s life.

It keeps our care consistent, helps me advocate, and provides peace of mind. You can request your own copy here—fully editable and customizable for your family.

Practical Tools. Powerful Love.

Hi friend,

I want to welcome you to this little corner of Stacy Tassin Ministries—what I lovingly call Life With Mighty D. This space was born out of two decades of navigating therapies, hospital stays, surgeries, equipment, appointments, and the holy chaos of caring for my son Dylan—also known as Mighty D.

He was born weighing just over two pounds, with a list of medical complexities that made doctors unsure of how long we’d have with him. Twenty years later, he is still here—still mighty—and still teaching me more about perseverance, faith, and joy than I could have imagined.

Why This Space Exists

When you’re a special needs mom or caregiver, the world can feel both incredibly loud and painfully isolating. You carry binders of paperwork, but also invisible weights that others can’t see. You juggle schedules and suction tubes, therapies and trauma, faith and fear.

And somewhere in all that, you need a place to breathe.

Life With Mighty D is that place.

It’s a blog and resource hub created for families caring for medically complex, special needs, or fully dependent individuals. Whether you’re deep in a crisis season or just trying to manage the daily demands, I want this space to serve you.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Real-life encouragement for caregivers and special needs moms

  • Editable tools and templates like our Medical Binder (similar to what I use for Dylan)

  • Special podcast episodes that speak directly to this special life

  • Tips, stories, and practical advice from the trenches

  • And most of all, a reminder that you are not alone.

A Final Word of Hope

I don’t have all the answers. I still have hard days, tired days, and “I can’t do this again” days.

But I’ve learned this: God meets us in the middle of our mess. He strengthens what we think is weak. He gives us enough for today. And He often sends people—like you and me—to remind each other that we’re not alone.

Thank you for being here.

I’m praying for you and your precious child.
You are seen. You are strong. You are so very loved.

With grace and grit,
Stacy Tassin
